Sunday 7-8 Day 14

Start: Billings, MT
End: Billings, MT
Scheduled miles: 0
Actual miles: 0 (a lot of walking though!)

Today is a rest day and slept in till 6. Showered and even shaved. Went to lunch at the local hospital's cafeteria, which was supposed to be a good deal. Not so good for me. Still cost me 7 bucks.

There was a Lutheran Church right behind the University, so Mike, Dan and I went. Lutheran churchs don't change much from state to state it seems. Had a nice time and had a lot of thank you's to say.

After church was some grocery shopping, had to stock up on power bars, and other essentials. Also bought a bagel and some cold cuts to make a sandwich for a light lunch, for dinner I'll be going out with Greg and Trish. Also got some cardboard mailers to mail home my picture CD's. Staying at universities we get access to thier computers, so it is fairly easy to acquire a blank CD and burn all the pictures in the camera to it and mail it home. Once I know for sure the pictures are safe I can delete them from the camera and have room for more.

The afternoon was then spent catching up on my site here and cleaning my bike. Tonight we are going to discuss getting to Custers last stand perhaps, and Mt Rushmore.

Tommorrow should be an easy day only 54 miles. I hope there is something to do in Hardin MT. It will be our last day in Montana. Yippee. Then three days in Wyoming, six days in South Dakota, and five days in Minnesota, before we get to beautiful Wisconsin!

Hi Bob,

We're all rooting for you at Unity. Hope all is well, things are fine "back at the ranch". We should get an answer on the loan application this week... keep your fingers crossed!
Now Eric believes in your ride!
